While Apple no longer sells the Apple Watch Series 9, several retailers still have stock and are offering decent discounts. However, the supply of these 2023 models is certainly starting to dwindle now that we’re two years past their release.

What is the best Apple Watch Series 9 deal right now?
The best deal in terms of direct discount is the Apple Watch Series 9 41mm with GPS and cellular in storm blue at Amazon. Usually $699, it’s fallen by 33% to $469. This is the stainless steel version, hence its higher price tag. If that doesn’t work for you, you can save $130 on the 45mm model in midnight at Walmart. That’s dropped from $429 to $299 for a limited time.

Though your options are extremely limited in the new year, Amazon still has a few Series 9 watches at discounted rates. The best of the lot is the stainless steel 41mm model with GPS and cellular in storm blue for $469. It’s the cheapest we’ve ever seen that particular model go for at Amazon, thanks to a 33% discount worth $230 in savings.
Apple Watch Series 9 deals at Best Buy are relatively sparse so far this year, with the 41mm model and 45mm model available for $299. This is a savings of $100 and $130, respectively. Both are available in the midnight color and are GPS only.
Best Buy has a trade-in program, and you can save even more in exchange for an old smartwatch from Apple, Samsung, Fitbit or other major brands. Furthermore, the purchase comes with four free months of Apple Fitness Plus and three free months of Apple Music.
Like Amazon, Walmart is currently offering the Apple Watch Series 9 45mm model for $279. It’s only available in the midnight color but comes with three free months of Apple TV Plus, Apple Fitness and Apple News as well as four free months of Apple Music and Apple Arcade.
There are a few more color selections available. The best of the bunch is this 45mm model with GPS and cellular in red for $379, which is a discount of $150. Also, you get all the same perks as with the 41mm model.
